About Biopack Solutions

We design and supply sustainable serveware made from naturally fallen areca palm leaves, without chemicals, plastics, or surface coatings.

Material before product

We didn’t begin with a product idea. We began by looking for a material that could meet real food needs without relying on coatings, additives, or disposal systems that rarely exist in practice.

Why we chose areca

Areca palm leaves stood out because they already do the job. They fall naturally after harvest, have inherent strength, and don’t need to be engineered into something they’re not.

Working with areca allows us to design serveware that stays honest to its material, functional, food-safe, and able to return to the earth after use.

For us, choosing areca wasn’t about following a sustainability trend. It was about committing to a material that makes responsible choices simpler, not harder.

Leaf to earth

Every product begins as a fallen leaf and returns to the soil, completing a true circular lifecycle.

A circular infographic illustrating the process of making sustainable areca products. It starts with collected leaves or plants, then cleaning, pressing, product ready, compost in 3 months, and back to collected plants.

Food-safe by design

  • Safe for direct food contact (EU Regulation EC 1935/2004)

  • LFGB tested
